We enjoyed a steady run around the Parbold Hill Race course, starting as always from the Farmers Arms, checking out the best muddy sections. I suspect the mother of the young runner who had to be persuaded up Parbold Hill with jelly babies, may have underestimated his level of enthusiasm and fitness! Hopefully he'll be back again next year.

Many retired to the warmth of the bar afterwards to talk of plans for 2025 and to kick off the new year's celebrations.
